Big Book - Sportsbook Reviews by TorgRate It [ 0.00 / 0 Votes ] Any thoughts?
The big Book has merged with Bo Dog Sportsbook in July of 2003.

Grand Prix/ Big Book

I am lumping these two different books together because for all intents and purposes they are the same. They have the same payment options in and out the same 10% signup bonus, the same software, the same lines and the same advertising. However I have actually used them both.

These books have some big advantages and some equally big disadvantages. First of all getting money in is very easy, both use Ebanx which is a Canadian Internet Bank. This means that all transactions take place from your ebanx account and the book never actually has your money, except during a pending bet, this gives a little more feeling of security as you have to worry about the bank folding instead of the sportsbook. Both also offer credit card reversal as payout optoin which I like alot and its free. For payouts above your initial deposit they send you a check for free which takes about 7 days to arrive.

Now onto the bad parts, first they have a 20 cent line in baseball which is just a joke to me. Furthermore they don't offer a regular money line on baseball favs over 220. In cases where the line is above that they only offer a runline, and often they end up offering a line like Houston -2 (-110). This is a pain and basically I don't bet much baseball here. They do offer teasers but ties lose on a 2 team teaser which is not the standard of ties push. Most places a win+tie=no bet but here a win+tie=loss. which to me makes no sense, and is just stealing money.

They don't offer many bets just NFL, College, baseball and occasionally soccer. They have some futures up, which gave me some good betting opportunities awhile ago when they hadn't updated them in a while, but now the lines are all very, very bad.

Overall this is a very good place to use as a 2nd out for Football, money in and out is very good. The lines often move a bit slower here due to low volume so if you are a follow of line moves this place is a good one to post up with.

This is my favorite. The sports book is easy to use & has pretty good betting limits compared to most. Winning bets are paid off quickly after games are complete. The only drawback is the site gets pretty crowded right before game time for football on Sundays. Sometimes that slows you down or you can't get through at all but most other sportsbooks I've used are the same way. You can also place bets over the phone.
