A SIZZLING GAME FROM THE ISLANDS - Caribbean Stud Poker TipsRate It [ 0.00 / 0 Votes ] Any thoughts?
Play Caribbean stud poker at Windows casino.Caribbean stud is a simple five-card poker game played against the dealer--not the other players.

In this game, you bet a chip in a box on the table marked ANTE. The dealer then deals you five cards and deals herself five cards. If you think you have been dealt a hand that will beat the dealer, you double your ante bet and put the chips in the box marked BET. If you do not think you will beat the dealer, you have the option of folding and giving up your ante bet.

If you decide not to fold, you and the dealer both reveal your hands. If you win, you are paid even money for you ante bet, but your bet in the BET box is paid according to how strong your hand is. The better the hand, the more you are paid. If the dealer beats your hand, you lose your ante and your bet. However, for the dealer to even play, she must be holding an ace AND a king or better. If not, the dealer 'does not qualify.' In this case, you are paid even money on your ante and your money in the BET box is returned to you--no matter what hand you hold.

Basic Rules.... Caribbean Stud Poker TipsRate It [ 0.00 / 0 Votes ] Any thoughts?
This table game is played with one deck. The player has two ways of making money from this stud game. The first is similar to other table games. The player places an ante on the space provided on the table. The dealer will deal a hand of five cards to the player and a hand of five cards to himself. The final card dealt to the dealer is dealt face up so that the player can see the value of the card. At this point the player can see all five of their cards and one of the dealers. Now the player can make the decision to fold or bet. If the player chooses to fold, the hand and ante are surrendered to the dealer and a new hand begins. If the player chooses to bet, and therefore compares their hand to the dealer's hand, the player has to place the bet on the table. The bet has to be twice the value of the ante, no more, no less.

The dealer will then show the player his cards. The dealer qualifies for play if his hand is ranked with an Ace, King or higher. If the dealer doesn't have a qualifying hand and the player has bet, then the dealer pushes the player's bet and ante back plus the amount of the ante, as winnings. If the dealer has a qualifying hand and the player beats the dealer, the player wins an equal value to his ante and the bet is paid out at odds equal to the value of the player's hand.

Hand Payoff

Pair or Less 1-1

Two Pair 2-1

Three-of-a-kind 3-1

Straight 4-1

Flush 5-1

Full House 7-1

Four of a Kind 20-1

Straight Flush 50-1

Royal Flush 100-1

* Odds can vary from casino to casino

Progressive Jackpot Bet...

This optional bet is separate from the ante and call bet and independent of the dealer's hand. In other words no matter what the rank of the dealer's hand or for that matter even if he qualifies, you will be eligible for a payout if you make the optional dollar jackpot bet and are dealt one of these hands.

Typical Progressive Jackpot Pay Schedule

Royal Flush 100% of jackpot

Straight flush 10% of the jackpot

Four-of-a-kind $500

Full House $100

Flush $50

Please note the jackpot pay schedule may be slightly different from one casino to the next especially in the amount of the payoff for the four-of-a-kind, full house, and flush. The jackpot grows as players feed coins into the jackpot slot (casinos put anywhere from 25 to 75 cents out of every dollar bet into the jackpot pool).
