Any thoughts? Earlier this month, the United Press International (UPI) went out on a limb. They predicted that the current session of Congress will NOT pass a bill to ban Internet Casinos.
Since 1997, seven bills have tried to outlaw this highly successful industry. And all seven bills failed. UPI predicts history will repeat itself, mainly because the Republicans still haven't decided where they stand on the question.
On one hand, you have Rep. Bob Goodlatte vowing to continue his holy war against online gambling.
On the other, you have at least one House Republican saying "Let's give the Internet a chance to grow and evolve rather than regulate it as quickly as it gets out of the box."

Any thoughts? "I'm not a big fan of the current state of affairs in Internet gambling, but also don't believe Internet gambling should be banned or made illegal. I believe in freedom of choice, and that important consideration aside, banning Internet gambling won't prevent it..."
